springtime fun!

I stepped out of my box and let the kids

make a complete mess.

(not that they don't normally make a mess.  it is just that I'm normally unaware at the moment.)

not that I'm a neat freak, clearly.

I just hate cleaning.

indoor mess, no. outdoor mess, yes!

and yes. the car is still dirty.

oh well.

gosh, I love this place...

and that is a good thing because the park trip started out as a trip to Hansens for a sno-ball

on their last day open for the year.

but it seems we were a day late.

better luck next year :(

then we tried Plum Street.

who would have thought that sno-ball stands close on Labor Day?

so option three was the port-o-sno-ball in front of Audubon Park.

not the tastiest, but you sure can't beat the view.

seriously.

the kids enjoyed their sno-balls

even Mr. Skeptical enjoyed a few bites

then off to the playground to expend some energy

and a good time was had by all.





now, off to bed, because reason #1 is tomorrow.
